The Kielder Challenge – taking place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September 2012 – is the UK’s largest inter-company challenge. Each team consists of 6 participants who orienteer to set points to undertake carefully devised tasks testing creativity, ingenuity and team-work, they construct their own shelters to sleep beneath the stars and solve a giant 6 hour puzzle before celebrating with a party, prizegiving, live music and a free bar. The Kielder Challenge is run over two days and the course is set in beautiful, rural Northumberland.

The Kielder Challenge is physical but, unlike many other corporate challenges, the sole focus is not on who can ride, walk or run the fastest or furthest. It tests and appeals to a wider audience, from the athlete to the exercise shy intellectual and everything in between. The Kielder Challenge offers a fun, competitive environment where people need to work as a team to succeed – it tests the existing skills of team members and helps them to develop new ones.
